Print (using Acrobat Reader) a list of the 22 mentors.

The Minnesota Organic Farmers' Information Exchange (MOFIE) links producers with information needed to farm organically and successfully by connecting with other experienced organic farmers. The program consists of a dynamic group of 22 certified organic producers from all over the state of Minnesota. Their expertise covers many areas of organic production in Minnesota such as crop, beef, dairy, poultry, vegetable, fruit, maple syrup, and flower production.

Each mentor has generously agreed to answer questions through phone calls or emails. They are available to take calls from anyone interested in what they are doing on their farms. However, please try to call during the requested times listed. And remember to thank them for their time and willingness to volunteer for such an important job!

For more information on MOFIE, contact Carmen Fernholz at the Southwest Research and Outreach Center at 320-212-3008, by e-mailing fernholz@umn.edu, or use our online form. We are interested in your feedback and comments on the MOFIE program.

MOFIE is a service intended to promote discussion and information sharing about organic agriculture among Minnesota farmers. Mentors have been included based on the recommendation by their peers. MDA, UM-SWROC and RMA do not endorse, approve, certify, or control the information that mentors provide, nor do they guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or efficacy. Whenever you are contemplating changes to your farm or farming practices, it's a good idea to consult multiple sources of information.
